If you are curious about the countryside around OfP's village of Balagram, Google Street view can show you around. This evening from my office in Canada, I traveled through Balagram and past the OIST site. Along the way I saw harvest activities, early monsoon flooding, shops and small factories and every manner of traffic on the Jaldhaka-Dalia Road all the way to the Teesta River. This is a wonderful way to see everyday life in a hard-to-reach part of the world.
