Dr. Sk. Nazmul Huda will speak at University of British Columbia Wednesday February 12 at 12 noon in Room B-104 of the School of Population and Public Health 2206 East Mall, UBC. Dr. Huda is a Bangladeshi epidemiologist (PhD UAlberta) and currently advisor for Bangladesh with the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization. His  research interests include arsenicosis and tracking survivors of last year’s garment factory disaster. The title of his talk is “Despite Everything: Public Health Successes in Bangladesh. ” Dr. Huda’s visit is sponsored by the Bangladesh Health Project.
