Congratulations to IUBAT nurse

Mohammed Ali, an IUBAT College of Nursing graduate supported by BHP donors recently completed his second post-graduate degree at Oxford University in the Nuffield Department of Women’s and Reproductive Health.

He has recently been offered a job in the Obstetric and Gynecology Department at Uppsala University Hospital, Sweden. Ali writes, “I've always been passionate about promoting health in my community. My long-term goal is to address and improve perinatal health in Bangladesh. If I accept this offer, I will take initiative for collaborative research work between Uppsala University Hospital and Bangladesh to improve perinatal health in Bangladesh. I do not know whether I will achieve the target in my lifetime, but someone has to take the initiative. I believe I may be that person.”
